XLA Honored as a Fantastic 50 Awardee for the Third Consecutive Year

XLA was named as one of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s 50 fastest-growing companies at the 18^th annual Virginia’s FANTASTIC 50 Awards Banquet. 2013 marks the third consecutive year that XLA has been included on this esteemed list.

To be eligible, companies must be headquartered in Virginia and demonstrate revenue growth in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year sales revenue history.

“Small businesses are the backbone of the Virginia economy, creating jobs and opportunity across the Commonwealth,” said Virginia Chamber president and CEO Barry DuVal. “We are proud to recognize the achievements of our entrepreneurs at the Fantastic 50 banquet.”

XLA Wins Coveted Spot on $11B DHS TABSS Contract

XLA is one of only six companies out of 30 bidders to receive a full and open-competitive award on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) TABSS Contract Domain 2, Business Management, Financial Management and Audit Support Services.

The award is an $11B mandatory for use contract vehicle for DHS and all its Components. It will be administered by the U.S. Coast Guard and will provide a contracting vehicle for existing and new work throughout DHS.

“CEO Strategy Series” Features XLA’s CEO as a Guest Speaker

The Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) “CEO Strategy Series” will feature XLA CEO, Lloyd Mustin, as a guest speaker on Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Lloyd will discuss the challenges of integrating two similar sized companies and the importance of a cultural fit. He will also field questions on the decision to partner with a private equity firm as part of the company’s growth strategy.

SmartCEO Magazine Announces Winners of 2013 Future 50 Awards

For the second consecutive year, XLA was named one of SmartCEO’s Future 50. The list recognizes the Greater Washington area’s fastest-growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years.

XLA will celebrate this achievement on January 31st at SmartCEO’s black tie gala in Tysons’s Corner. SmartCEO magazine will feature XLA and other Future 50 awardees in its January 2013 issue.

XLA Honored at 2012 VA Chamber of Commerce “Fantastic 50″ Gala for the 2nd Consecutive Year

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce unveiled the names of the 50 fastest growing companies in the state at its 17th annual awards banquet in Chantilly. “Fantastic 50″ winners were selected based on a four-year growth rate, from 2007 through 2010. The evening’s keynote speaker, Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling, stated: “I am delighted to participate in this wonderful event, which recognizes many of the fastest growing companies in Virginia.
