Lloyd M. Mustin II, President and Founder
Lloyd Mustin founded XL in 1989. As President of XL, Lloyd has helped to provide a broad range of professional services to over 15 government agencies and more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. He has “hands-on” experience in all phases of business start-up. Lloyd is proficient in ongoing development of business operations including capitalization, cash flow and corporate growth strategy. He has broad expertise in public speaking, writing and training.
As a 4th generation Naval officer, Lloyd has continued to offer his services to our armed forces. He served as keynote speaker for Senator Warner at Senate Armed Services Committee Symposium on the viability of the DOD Pilot Mentor-Protégé Program. Lloyd currently participates with DoD and FEMA on National Level Homeland Security Exercises pertaining to Continuity of Operations and Crisis Management.
Lloyd earned an M.S. in Finance from the Johns Hopkins University and is an avid outdoors enthusiast. He summited Mount Kilimanjaro, competed in several marathons and has sailed the BVI, the French West Indies & the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.
Teri Brouillard Godso, Vice President Strategic Accounts
Teri joined XL in 2003, and she has over 14 years of experience in sales operations, staffing and project management in the private and public sectors. As XL Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she oversees and manages the company's existing client base, as well as the day-to-day operations for XL's largest clients. She has been instrumental in acquiring multiple BPA's and long-term contracts in support of government and commercial customers.
Prior to joining XL, Teri successfully opened and managed a large employment recruitment office where she was responsible for all new sales, as well as identifying and hiring new candidates. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park and she enjoys hiking, biking, running and traveling.
Dale W. Ritchie, Director of Operations
Dale Ritchie's responsibilities include serving as a Program Manager, Facility Security Officer, and corporate executive. He oversees the company’s day-to-day project operations, back-office functions, and technical systems. Prior to joining XL, Dale held a number of positions with increasing responsibility in a woman-owned small business providing support to federal, state and local governments.
Dale has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from National Louis University. He retired from the U.S. Air Force where he worked in intelligence, arms control, and training. Dale enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing and skiing
Sharon Cole, PhD, Program Manager
Dr. Cole's responsibilities include the on-site management of XL project teams focusing on our grants lifecycle management awards. Sharon has expert-level knowledge of grant guidelines, regulations, and cost principles through her experience directing university faculty, medical research faculty, project managers, business administrators, financial managers, and project team members. She gained this knowledge through progressively responsible positions in grants management including Grants Specialist, Sr. Grants and Contracts Administrator, Proposal Manager, and Director of Sponsored Programs (Grants and Contracts).
She has overseen the full array of grants lifecycle activities including managing complex projects for program management and compliance, pre-award proposal review and project development, post-award financial administration, property and procurement standards, reporting, maintenance and retention of records, and closeout of the grant awards. Dr. Cole's education includes a Masters in Business Administration and a PhD in Professional Studies in Education. She has published her dissertation as well as several peer-reviewed articles on grants administration. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys fitness, swimming, and theater.
Jaimee Braun, Project Manager
Jaimee has been with XL since 2007 and currently manages the USAID support project. She is responsible for on-site management of XL's USAID support team, including management of recruiting, contracting, and administrative support operations and personnel. She also serves as the Facility Security Officer for the project. Prior to joining XL, Jaimee worked on various youth civic education and conflict resolution programs, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Georgia.
Jaimee has an MA in International Development and Social Change from Clark University. She enjoys hiking, biking and travel.
Janet Hunter, National Account Manager
Janet possesses over 24 years of experience in sales operations, human resources, and financial management. As senior account executive, her primary responsibilities are to ensure continued growth of XL’s core business lines and to support XL's government and commercial clients. Janet also works closely with the sales and operations staff to pursue new opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining XL, Janet managed a client program in sales operations for a multi-national supply chain logistics software company. She also managed contracts for a large government contract research company. Both positions were held in the Washington, DC area. Janet holds a BBA from Walsh College, Troy, MI. She enjoys tennis, kayaking and boating.
Irina Gerasimova, National Recruiting Manager
Irina has been with XL for 3 years and leads our recruiting efforts as we staff our national and international contracts. Irina introduced and implemented a much improved cost-effective Applicant Tracking and Management System which is in use company-wide. She has also developed many innovative online recruiting methods for Sourcing and Talent Acquisitions. As a result, XL's recruiting and staffing methodology is unequalled, with an effective global reach. More importantly for our clients, Irina's efforts have resulted in much improved cost-per-hire and time-to-hire metrics. She is very active in the Recruiting community and social networking. As a member of NCMA, she has a solid knowledge of the acquisition and grants management fields.
Irina has a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Cross-Cultural Communications from Voronezh University in Russia. She enjoys the arts, particularly painting.
Jane Mullin, Human Resources (HR) Manager
Jane oversees all HR functions for XL such as benefits administration, maintenance of personnel records, and new hire orientation. She also works on the processing of security clearances, international travel arrangements, and management of XL's facilities. Jane started at XL in 2009 coming from the supply chain logistics software industry where she served as an administration manager, facilities and office services manager, and executive assistant for multi-national software and consulting companies such as Manugistics, JDA Software, EXE Technologies, and The Thomas Group.
Jane’s educational background is in liberal arts from Alma College, Alma, Michigan and supply chain logistics studies at the University of North Texas. She has long been involved in American Kennel Club activities and breed rescue.
Arvind Patel, Controller
Arvind joined XL in 2009 and he brings over 17 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in government contracting and Deltek environments. He has worked with all major types of contracting vehicles, including CPFF, T&M, Fixed Price, and he has overall responsibility for XL's accounting and financial functions. Arvind is experienced at DCAA compliance and SOX reporting requirements and he specializes in establishing contract management tools and tracking systems.
Arvind has a BS in accounting from Saurashtra University and he earned his CPA in 1990. He enjoys running and traveling.
Krystal Glenn, Director of Community Outreach
Krystal has been with XL for four years after starting her career as a news correspondent for BET Studios. She serves as XL’s point of contact for our philanthropic community outreach efforts. Krystal has spearheaded our work with the Salvation Army to grant Christmas wishes for low-income families in the Metropolitan area. She led our back- to-school drive for homeless teens in transition shelters in Northern Virginia and coordinated our donation of winter wardrobes to less fortunate teens and low-income families.
Most recently, Krystal led XL’s partnership with Operation 2nd Chance and the Angel Rescue Foundation. She also leads all of XL's employee celebratory events, which are becoming legendary in their own right. She is currently a Minister in training and is passionate about assisting those in need in our local communities.
