XL has been selected as one of SmartCEO magazine's Future 50 award winners for 2012. The Future 50 award recognizes the Washington region's fifty fastest growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years.

October 6th, 2011 - XL Takes No. 9 Spot on The Washington Business Journal's List of 50 Fastest Growing Companies

The Washington Business Journal (WBJ) honored the 50 Fastest Growing Companies on October 6th, 2011 during its annual awards ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. July 20th, 2011 - XL Honored as 2011 Star Workplace Finalist

XL has been selected as a Finalist for the 2011 SmartCEO GovStar Star Workplace award.  The basis for the award is:  The Government contractor that has created a dynamic, fun workplace environment for its employees.  XL President & Founder, Lloyd M. May 13th, 2011 - XL President Appears on Executive Leaders Radio Program

May 10th, 2011 - XL Achieves ISO 9001 Certification

XL has been granted ISO 9001:2008 certification by Bureau Veritas Certification North America, Inc. effective April 28, 2011.  This certification follows a series of audits and confirms that XL's Quality Management System was found to be in accordance with the requirements of the management system standards.  Dale Ritchie, XL's Director of Operations, stated:  "XL's primary purpose for developing an ISO-compliant QMS was to create an even more efficient, effective operation and further increase customer satisfaction and retention.  We are very proud to have achieved this milestone."

May 5th, 2011 - XL Wins ACG Emerging Growth Company Award (< $50M in revenue)

ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) National Capital announced the 2011 Corporate Growth Awards winners at a black tie event held at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner on May 5, 2011.  Over 370 of the top corporate executives and dealmakers serving the Washington metro business community were in attendance.

April 29th, 2011 - XL Honored at 2011 VA Chamber of Commerce "Fantastic Fifty" Gala

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce has announced the names of the companies who made the sixteenth annual "Fantastic Fifty" list of 50 of the fastest-growing companies in the state. The winning companies were saluted at the annual award banquet held at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly on April 28. "These growing companies are proof positive that optimism is very much alive in Virginia's business community," said Barry DuVal, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber. "Small businesses are the economic engine of the Virginia economy, creating jobs necessary to revitalize the Commonwealth's economy following the recent worldwide financial crisis."
